Dispatch Supervisor

The selected candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to interact at various levels within the organization, as well as directly with clients and carriers. You must also have 2 years of management experience in freight brokerage dispatch. Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Dispatcher located in Georgetown, ON. The Dispatcher supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and managing the schedules of drivers, ensuring the timely and efficient transport of goods. Duties will include maintaining communication with drivers, handling customer inquiries and complaints, planning routes, and using dispatch software to track and update delivery statuses. Additionally, the Dispatcher supervisor will manage the workload within the team and be accountable for the team's performance. QualificationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience in scheduling, route planning, and using dispatch softwareProblem-solving and critical thinking abilitiesStrong organizational and multitasking skillsKnowledge of traffic laws and regulationsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentManagement experience in freight brokerage dispatchingHigh school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in logistics or transportation management is a plus
