We are currently looking for a District Commercial Manager who will report to the Country Manager - Norway. As part of your role, you will be tasked with delivering solid growth to BRP Unit & Parts, Accessories and Apparel (PAA) business through successful wholesale and retail activities and by influencing sales best practices in ways that positively impact BRP’s Dealer Value Proposition and increase dealer engagement and loyalty.In this position, the DCM for Unit & PAA knows his District best and is focused on growing it to its maximum potential and above. The current brand scope is Can-Am ATV-UTV-2W, Sea-Doo, Lynx and Ski-Doo product lines.You’ll Have The Opportunity ToAchieve Unit & PAA sales targets (retail planning, wholesale booking, market share, accessories per retailed unit ...) in the assigned market area in ways that contribute to dealer engagement and loyalty and meet revenue and profitability targets.Develop and execute the commercial business strategies related to Units & PAA –per product line - with the dealer network in the assigned market area.Activate dealer participation to Unit IO, PAA pre-season, promotional activities, dealer engagement programs, and other activities to maximize sales results.Initiate the development of the dealer Go To Market plans in order to stimulate retail sales for Units & PAA. Leverage tools such as lead generation & follow-up, creation of Marketing Plan, Coop usage, Open house events, Marketing campaigns, etc. to develop retail sales and deliver a strong consumer experience. Work closely with the local Marketing Team for the creation and execution of the plans & projectsTrain dealers and their staff on Unit & PAA product features and benefits and implement learnings & practices from other non-tech training to ensure they are well equipped for successful retail performance.Focus the dealer network teams on certification as a key enabler for driving a positive experience and also, in combination with a strong retail performance, to drive a positive Dealer Value Proposition.Develop a District Action Plan (DAP) for the Unit & PAA business in the assigned market area and identify opportunities to build and grow your DistrictIn collaboration with Dealer Development, support prospecting activities within your district.Participate to the development of Norway Unit & PAA business plan development, based on the identified DAP priorities and key opportunities in collaboration with the Regional Commercial Manager and other local as well as functional team members.Support and plan tenders and sales activities with our fleet customers.YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: Bachelor degree in Business or related field. Relevant and lengthy experience in related industries can make up for lack of degreeMinimum of 5 years of relevant sales and marketing experience preferably within the Automotive, 2-wheel, Powersports, Agricultural business or related industriesDealership and/or retail sales experience is a plusProven track record of successfully delivering results in fast-paced and high-growth environmentFluent in written & spoken Norwegian & English. Any other language is an assetExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Hold a valid driver’s licenseStrong results orientation and drive to achieveCapacity to prioritize & perform under pressureSet priorities and objectives and ability to deliver tasks and results within deadlines High-level of self-motivation and ability to operate autonomouslyExcellent analytical & negotiation skills to deal with challenging situationsHave a genuine interest in people and travelling to meet the dealers in our extensive networkThe position is based in Trondheim, Norway.
