What Your Day and Week Could Look LikeAs the District Sales Manager (DSM) for the GTA, you will manage and grow performance across a defined portfolio of automotive dealerships. You will represent both prime and non-prime lending programs, ensuring dealers are supported, educated, and engaged to drive consistent application and funding volume.This role requires strong relationship-building, structured territory management, and the ability to use data tools (Power BI, Databricks, Excel, and Salesforce CRM reports) to monitor performance trends and build account plans. You will regularly conduct dealership training sessions, support sales execution, and participate in industry and dealer events to elevate CanCap’s presence in the market.What You’ll DoDealer Relationship & Territory Management• Manage and grow a portfolio of dealership partners within the GTA.• Conduct regular dealership visits to support training, partnership development, and performance coaching.• Educate dealership staff (F&I, sales managers, GSMs/GMs) on program guidelines, deal structuring, and submission best practices.• Represent CanCap at dealer group meetings, industry conferences, association events, and trade shows.Application & Funding Growth (Prime & Non-Prime)• Support dealerships in submitting high-quality applications and improving approval and funding success rates.• Monitor program mix, deal structure quality, and opportunity gaps to guide dealer-level actions.• Work collaboratively with Credit and Funding teams to support real-time deal solutions and long-term performance improvement.Performance Reporting, CRM & Insights• Use Salesforce CRM to manage accounts, track call activity, maintain dealer plans, and record engagement.• Generate and interpret CRM reports to monitor pipeline activity, dealer engagement, and follow-through.• Review dealer performance dashboards in Power BI to identify momentum or performance gaps.• Extract performance trends from Databricks as needed (comfortable familiarity is sufficient; deep coding not required).• Use Excel (pivot tables, lookups, comparison reporting) to support territory planning and monthly business reviews.• Summarize insights clearly for internal and external performance discussions.Cross-Functional Collaboration• Work with Credit, Operations, Product, and Risk to ensure a smooth and consistent dealer experience.• Participate in feedback loops to communicate field feedback and competitive dynamics.Continuous Engagement & Professionalism• Maintain an organized territory rhythm and consistent follow-up structure.• Demonstrate professionalism and represent CanCap’s values in-market.What You’ll BringExperience• 3+ years in automotive finance, dealer business development, vendor/F&I support, or field sales.• Experience working within dealership environments strongly preferred.Technical Skills• Salesforce CRM (activity logging, reporting, pipeline tracking)• Power BI dashboards (performance interpretation)• Databricks (viewing/exporting performance data)• Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, comparative analysis)Core Strengths• Highly motivated, energetic, and relationship oriented.• Organized and structured — strong follow-through and territory planning discipline.• Confident communicator who influences through trust, clarity, and insight.Reporting RelationshipThis role reports directly to the Regional Sales Director, and works closely with the VP of Sales, Credit, and Operations to ensure alignment on key performance priorities.What You Can Expect from Us• A collaborative, performance-minded culture.• Leadership support for your growth and development.• Comprehensive health and dental benefits.• Hybrid work flexibility.Next StepsAdding to our team is one of the important steps that happens in our business.
