Job DetailsBroussard, LA Full Time ManagementDescriptionScope of Work:Manage the organization, productivity and assets of the Service and Field Department to obtain maximum efficiency and profitability. Supervise the Foreman, Leaderman, Technician and Administrative staff.Primary Job ResponsibilitiesAdhere to and utilize the established Service Department management operating system for assigned workMeasure productivity, and increase outputDevelop and maintain a training program for all Service and Field Department employeesEstablish departmental goals relevant to each shop/field activity, and monitors performance on a monthly basisMeet with Regional Manager, Branch Manager and Parts Manager at least monthly for reviewing activities, financial reports, problems, progress and mutual needsMonitor customer needs and ensure requirements are metEnsure service requirements are satisfied for equipment that is utilized in the territoryDevelop and maintain close contact and good relations with customers, which may include onsite visitsConduct a monthly safety meeting and complete required reportsProvide timely and effective Performance Reviews to staff, and plan equitable increasesPerforms other duties or functions as requested by ManagementPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Must have a minimum of 3 years previous supervisory experience of service and or field personnelHigh School Diploma or equivalentTrade school and/or some college preferredRequirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s)Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record per WPI insurance carrier standardsMust be computer literate, and have ability to utilize a Windows based environment (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)Must be dependable and able to work independentlyMust have ability to maintain good client relationsMust have the ability to supervise, lead and motivate others Must have the ability to effectively evaluate others Working ConditionsTypical hours of work Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.Weekend hours as necessaryIndoor/Outside, offshore work as requiredWPI is an EEO/AA (equal opportunity/affirmative action) institution and does not discriminate on the basis of sex, age, race, color, religion, physical or mental disability, creed, national origin, veteran status, sexual orientation, genetic information, gender identity, or gender expression in the programs or activities which it operates.En EspanolWPI es una institució n EEO/AA (igualdad de oportunidad/acció n afirmativa) y no discrimina en base al sexo, edad, raza, color, religión, discapacidad física o mental, credo, origen nacional, estatus veterano, orientació n sexual, infomació n genética, identidad de género, o expresió n de género en los programas o actividades los cuales opera.
