Believing their brilliance and determination will provide solutions to tomorrow's challenges, we welcome professionals who will both benefit from and enrich our team.For our office in Cairo, we are looking for:Document Controller (Egypt) - 100% (m/f)The ideal candidate is responsible for the systematic and efficient control, storage, retrieval, and distribution of all technical and project-related documentation (drawings, specifications, reports, transmittals, calculations) in accordance with the firm's procedures and client requirements. with 3 - 7 years of experience in controlling local and GCC projects document.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain a standardized Document Control System (DCS), ensuring strict adherence to project numbering, naming conventions, and revision control procedures.Manage the day-to-day operation of the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) or SharePoint platform, including setting up user access, training new users, and ensuring data accuracy.Perform quality checks on all incoming and outgoing documents (internal and external) to ensure compliance with quality standards before final issuance.Control the issuance and retrieval of hard copy documentation, ensuring proper stamping of controlled, uncontrolled, and superseded versions.Process and track all formal document transmittals and submittals to clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies, ensuring correct distribution lists and deadlines are met.Maintain accurate logs for all incoming and outgoing correspondence, reports, drawings, and technical data.Monitor document turnaround times (TAT) and escalate any delays in review or approval cycles to the Project Manager.Ensure the timely filing and archiving of all project documentation, maintaining the integrity of the project's historical record.Support internal and external audits by providing immediate and auditable access to requested documents and records.Prepare final project handover documentation (dossiers), ensuring all necessary approvals and close-out requirements are fulfilled.QualificationsBachelor's degree or relevant diploma in Library Science, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Document Controller, preferably within an Engineering Consultancy or Construction.Proven experience handling technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, RFIs (Requests for Information), and calculations.Proven experience handling technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, RFIs (Requests for Information), and calculations.Middle East Experience PreferredWe Offer:Young, motivated and a healthy working environmentInteresting opportunities for personal and professional development and growth.External Training Programs within our Global BranchesSocial and individual health insurance If you would like to join our highly motivated and very successful team, please send us your complete application, along with your updated CV.Sector: EngineeringRole: OtherWill manage other people: NoJob type: Permanent jobCareer level: Employee
