The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining an effective document management system, ensuring the proper handling, distribution, and storage of project documents while maintaining accuracy, integrity, and compliance with organisational and regulatory standards.Implement and maintain a comprehensive document management system for all project documentsReceive, review, and register incoming and outgoing project documents, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with project standardsControl and monitor the flow of documents within the organisationDistribute documents to relevant parties promptly and efficientlyTrack and manage document review and approval processesOrganise and maintain physical and electronic document storage systemsEnsure documents are easily retrievable and secure from unauthorised accessManage and control document revisions, tracking all changes and maintaining a revision registerEnsure all documents comply with relevant legal, regulatory, and project-specific standardsGenerate regular reports on document control activities and provide status updates to project managers and stakeholdersCoordinate with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective document controlCommunicate document control processes and requirements clearly and effectivelyRegularly review and update document control procedures to align with best practices and standardsQualificationsBachelor's degree in business administration, information management, or a related field5 years of experience in document control or a similar roleProficiency in document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word)Strong knowledge of document control processes and proceduresFamiliarity with industry-specific standards and regulationsExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesEffective communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesCapability to work collaboratively with various stakeholdersArabic language skills are highly desirable due to the job location
