Job Description

Our client, a prestigious specialist investigation and prosecuting authority, is looking for two Document Reviewer's to join their dynamic team, this is your chance to be part of a mission-driven organisation that plays a critical role in upholding the integrity of the UK's business and financial institutions.Start ASAP- pending security clearance, pay 15.84ph, hours Monday-Friday 36 hours per week, hybrid working, duration 6 months- possible extension, you will be required in the office two days a week, location- closest station- Charing Cross train station.Role Overview:As a Document Reviewer, you will work closely with a dedicated team, including Senior Document Reviewers and Disclosure Officers, to analyse crucial information during complex criminal investigations. Your contributions will help identify evidence that supports justice and transparency.Key Responsibilities:Dive deep into case materials and attend team meetings to discuss findings.Utilise eDiscovery digital review platforms (primarily Axcelerate) to identify relevant and sensitive documents.Review large volumes of data accurately while meeting daily targets and deadlines.Describe documents in compliance with the Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996 (CPIA) and Attorney General Guidelines on Disclosure 2022.Highlight material that may undermine the prosecution or support the defence, ensuring it's communicated effectively to the Disclosure Officer or Prosecutor.Show meticulous attention to detail by cross-referencing documents to form complete sets.Manage data efficiently using Excel and recognise Legal Professional Privilege materials for appropriate referral.What We're Looking For:Essential Criteria:A degree-level qualification or proven experience in interpreting complex information.Excellent analytical skills to describe intricate details accurately.Ability to prioritise and thrive in a multi-disciplinary team environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Exceptional attention to detail and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Desirable Criteria:Experience in criminal law or exposure to serious fraud prosecutions.Familiarity with large document review exercises and digital review platforms.Knowledge of the structure and operations of a specialist investigation authority.If you're ready to step into a challenging yet rewarding role, we want to hear from you!Apply Now!
