Document SpecialistRole OverviewMercor is hiring experienced legal professionals in Turkey to support the development of legal datasets for AI systems. This project-based role focuses on collecting, reviewing, and organizing publicly available legal and financial documents. Ideal candidates have a background in litigation or corporate law and are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesCollect and compile publicly accessible Turkish legal and financial documents in accordance with detailed project guidelines.Ensure all materials are accurate, complete, and clearly organized.Follow defined documentation standards to meet quality benchmarks.Verify data sources and ensure compliance with public availability and verifiability.Work asynchronously and communicate effectively with the project manager to meet assigned deadlines.Qualifications2–3 years of active legal practice experience in Turkey.Background in litigation or corporate/transactional law.Strong familiarity with Turkish legal and regulatory document sources.Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow structured workflows.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Self-directed with the ability to deliver quality work under tight deadlines.Role DetailsPart-time, hourly contract role with an estimated duration of 2–3 weeks.Expected engagement: 10–20 hours per week, based on availability.Fully remote and asynchronous work.Compensation: $40–$60/hour, paid weekly via Stripe Connect.Contractor engagement through Mercor.Mercor is committed to inclusive hiring and considers all qualified applicants without regard to legally protected characteristics.
