Additionally, the current employee has already been assigned to perform the higher level duties.The Office of the Attorney General (OAG) consists of the elected Attorney General, Chief Deputy Attorney General, Associate Chief Deputy Attorney General, Solicitor General, Deputy for Intergovernmental Affairs, Director of Communications, and associated administrative staff. The OAG is responsible for setting legal policy for the Department of Law and for the State of Colorado. The OAG manages the Department of Law through the work of nine operational sections, Consumer Protection, Criminal Justice, Criminal Appeals, State Services, Revenue & Regulatory Law, Civil Litigation & Employment Law, Natural Resources & Environment, Division of Community Engagement, and Administration.The Department of Law represents and defends the legal interests of the people of the State of Colorado and its sovereignty. The Attorney General has primary authority for enforcement of consumer protection laws, prosecution of criminal appeals, antitrust laws, and certain natural resource and environmental matters and complex white-collar. The Attorney General is the chief legal counsel and advisor to state government including the governor, judicial branch, and the many state agencies, boards, and commissions.This position serves as the Front Desk Coordinator for the DOL. Duties include supervision of the administrative operations of the front desk, including resolution of problems, delegation of tasks, creation and implementation of processes, and an advisory role regarding guidelines and policies. This position is the agency wide advisory resource for the DOL’s Service of Process (SOP) procedures and also serves as the lead coordinator for the administrative unit's DOL internship program.Salary note: Although a salary range is listed, salary will be set commensurate with the successful candidate's qualifications and in compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.Minimum Qualifications, Substitutions, Conditions Of Employment & Appeal RightsWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORMinimum Qualifications: Please document all relevant experience in detail on your application. Any part-time experience listed will be prorated.Experience OnlyFour (4) years of experience providing executive office management or program administration support, including at least one (1) year of experience engaging directly with the public or constituents to resolve concerns, de-escalate issues, and route inquiries to appropriate personnel or departments.OREducation And ExperienceA combination of related education and providing executive office management or program administration support equal to four (4) years.Must include at least one (1) year of experience engaging directly with the public or constituents to resolve concerns, de-escalate issues, and route inquiries to appropriate personnel or departments. If qualifying under the substitution, you will be required to provide a copy of your transcripts at time of application.
