DecisionPoint seeks a Senior Stakeholder Affairs Lead to design, execute, and oversee a comprehensive stakeholder engagement and communications strategy in support of a large federal and DoD-aligned mission environment. This role leads stakeholder relationship management, engagement planning, and coordination with internal and external partners to ensure alignment, transparency, and consistent communication across mission priorities.The Stakeholder Affairs Lead synchronizes outreach efforts, manages stakeholder communications lifecycle activities, and develops tailored engagement strategies to strengthen partner relationships and support enterprise-wide initiatives.This position is fully remote. Note By applying to this position, you acknowledge and consent to having your resume included in an active competitive government contract bid.**The Stakeholder Affairs Lead willLead development and execution of the enterprise stakeholder affairs strategy. Identify, map, and analyze stakeholder groups across mission areas to inform targeted engagement approaches. Oversee stakeholder communications, engagement plans, and relationship-building activities. Develop and maintain strategic engagement calendars, outreach roadmaps, and event coordination plans. Provide guidance to leadership on stakeholder perspectives, communication needs, and engagement opportunities. Craft stakeholder-specific messaging, talking points, briefings, and outreach materials. Coordinate cross-functional engagement efforts with communications, outreach, UX, policy, and IT teams. Manage stakeholder feedback loops, engagement metrics, and continuous improvement of engagement processes. Ensure all engagement products adhere to accessibility standards, branding guidelines, and federal communication requirements. Support stakeholder-focused workshops, listening sessions, and advisory engagements. Provide mentorship to supporting staff contributing to stakeholder engagement efforts. Clearance RequirementCandidate must possess a Tier 2 Moderate Risk Public Trust (from any federal agency) or an active Secret clearance or higher.Education (Required)Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Affairs, Public Administration, Sociology, Behavioral Science, Marketing, or a related field.Experience (Required)Minimum 10 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, public affairs, strategic communications, or community relations. Demonstrated experience developing and managing large-scale stakeholder engagement strategies. Experience coordinating multi-channel stakeholder communications across enterprise environments. Experience advising leadership and facilitating stakeholder-facing interactions. Technical Knowledge (Required)Knowledge of stakeholder mapping, engagement frameworks, and strategic outreach methods. Understanding of audience segmentation, behavior drivers, and communication alignment. Familiarity with federal or DoD stakeholder engagement policies, communications workflows, and governance. Technical Knowledge (Preferred)Experience with digital engagement tools, CRM systems, or analytics platforms. Experience supporting cross-functional engagement with UX, data, or IT teams. Certifications (Preferred)Public affairs or stakeholder engagement certifications Project management certifications (PMP, Agile, ITIL v4) SkillsExceptional communication and interpersonal skills suited for senior leadership and stakeholder audiences. Strong strategic thinking, planning, and relationship-building abilities. Ability to synthesize complex information into actionable engagement strategies. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple engagement efforts in a fast-paced environment.
