Join us if you want to be part of one of the most impactful biotech companies in the world.Our vision: Next generation nutrition for one billion people.Our mission: We push the boundaries of biotechnology to deliver nutrition that is all good for you, for your children, and for the planet.Job OverviewThis role will be responsible for performing downstream processing of precision fermentations, for both routine and research and development purposes.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will: Assist in developing and optimizing downstream processes (e.g., centrifugation, tangential flow filtration, chromatography). Operate lab-scale bioprocess equipment (up to 20L scale). Perform in-process testing and analysis including SDS-PAGE, HPLC, and protein concentration assays. Support lab upkeep: cleaning, inventory management, ordering consumables, and equipment maintenance. Design and plan experiments, and contribute to the remote support of scale up activities. Adhere to lab safety and quality standards, including GMP-like documentation practices. Work autonomously and collaborate with the wider R&D team. Collect, analyze, and interpret research data, calculate recoveries, and write and present reports. Perform such work activities relevant to the role’s key accountabilities as approved by the Team Leader.About You (including Essential Education & Skills)Our ideal candidate will have: A bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biotechnology, chemical engineering or a related field 0-5 years relevant work experience Prior knowledge/experience in a microbial fermentation lab or with bioprocess separation techniques preferred, but not essential Strong organizational and time management skills and attention to detail.
