Drafter

A nationally recognized manufacturer in the metal building industry is seeking a Drafter to support its drafting operations. This role involves preparing detailed documents and drawings for fabrication and erection, ensuring accuracy and completeness based on project specifications and internal standards. The Drafter will also mentor junior drafters, provide technical guidance, and review documentation for quality and compliance.This job will have the following responsibilities:Produce accurate and complete fabrication and erection drawingsCollaborate with engineering and project teams throughout the drafting processProvide mentorship and feedback to junior drafting staffEnsure all documentation aligns with internal procedures and standardsQualifications & Requirements:6–10 years of experience in metal building draftingProficiency in AutoCAD, MBS, and related drafting toolsStrong math skills, including trigonometryDemonstrated ability to lead and review drafting processes
