Swapper (Donkey Republic Driver) - 30-37.5 hours per weekErdem, who grew up in Istanbul, saw how bicycles are the key to more liveable cities, the environment and health. One of the founders of Donkey Republic, he saw in Copenhagen in 2012 how a number of friends from different cities shared bicycles with the location and sent the combination lock code via SMS. He thought there should be an easier way. The start was funded with a Kickstarter. Today, Donkey Republic is active in more than 70 European cities with 17,000 bicycles. The goal is still there: more cyclists with fewer bicycles. We are looking for a few new colleagues to support the growing bike fleet in Copenhagen assisting with daily operations and maintenance of the bicycles. You will become part of a growing team of bicycle enthusiasts: Donkey Shepherds.A Typical DayYou start your shift from our workshop in central Copenhagen at 08:30, and use our planning tool to map your route, then drive off with a customised delivery van loaded with charged e-bike batteries. You'll continue through the day visiting e-bikes that are reporting low battery charge levels and swapping those batteries around the city to serve more happy customers. With the help of our app you will find your way, and perform the necessary tasks.
