Duty Engineer - Agriculture

Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic Maintenance professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.As a Duty Engineer you are responsible for -Design and implementation- Assist in the design, construction, and maintenance of agricultural systems, such as irrigation and drainage, climate control, and water management.System monitoring- Conduct regular inspections and performance tests on agricultural equipment and systems.Data analysis- Collect and analyze data related to soil health, water usage, and crop yield to optimize production and resource management.Sustainability- Help develop and maintain sustainable farming practices, including composting, waste management, and energy-efficient solutions for agricultural operations.Equipment maintenance- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues with agricultural machinery and systems.SkillsEducation, Qualifications & ExperiencesYou should have a degree in mechanical engineering with previous experiences in a similar role and a proven knowledge in the operation and maintenance of the equipment. A good command of English and the ability to find fault and rectify subsystems are essentials.Knowledge & CompetenciesThe ideal candidate will be self motivated with a hands-on and flexible approach and be able to adapt to unpredictable events.
