Duty Manager The Mercantile HotelThe recently opened Mercantile Hotel, right in the heart of Dublin City, is already making waves and were now on the lookout for a motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our management team. This is a brilliant opportunity to play a hands-on role in shaping the guest experience and supporting the day-to-day running of one of the citys most exciting new venues.What Youll Be DoingAssisting the senior management team in overseeing the daily operations across the hotel, bar, and restaurant.Leading the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service and consistently high standards.Providing warm, professional, and genuine service to our guests at all times.Taking charge of shifts, managing team briefings, and offering support wherever needed.Dealing confidently with any guest queries, feedback, or complaints.Supporting with staff training, mentoring, and development.Upholding health & safety, hygiene, and licensing standards in line with hotel policy and legal requirements.Taking on key-holder duties, including opening and closing the premises when required.Helping to build a strong, positive team culture as part of our growing operation.What Were Looking ForPrevious experience in a supervisory or duty management role within a busy hospitality environment hotel background is a plus.A natural leader with excellent communication and organisational skills.Someone with a real passion for hospitality and a genuine focus on guest satisfaction.Calm and capable under pressure, with strong problem-solving skills.A team player who can inspire and support others.Flexible availability evenings, weekends, and bank holidays will be part of the rota.Working knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and basic reporting is an advantage.What Youll GetCompetitive salary with performance-related incentivesGenerous staff discounts across the hotelGym membership discountTaxSaver commuter benefitsExcellent career progression opportunities within a growing hotel groupThe chance to be part of something fresh, vibrant, and full of potentialSalary D.O.EIf youre ready to bring your experience, energy, and leadership skills to a new chapter in Dublin hospitality, wed love to hear from you.Please note that due to the high volume of applications, we may not be able to respond to everyone individually.
