Duty Manager (Front Office)The Creekside Hotel, DubaiLocation: Dubai, UAEDepartment: Front Office / Rooms DivisionEmployment Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleThe Creekside Hotel is seeking a confident, service-driven, and highly organized Duty Manager to oversee Front Office operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences throughout the hotel. This leadership role supports the Rooms Division by managing daily operations, supervising the team, and acting as the key point of contact for guests and internal departments.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational LeadershipOversee daily Front Office operations including check-in/check-out, guest services, lobby management, and VIP arrivals.Ensure all procedures, policies, and brand standards are consistently followed.Monitor room allocations, availability, and special requests in coordination with Reservations and Housekeeping.Handle operational challenges swiftly, ensuring smooth guest flow and service recovery.Guest Experience ManagementGreet VIPs and long-stay guests, ensuring personalized and memorable experiences.Address guest concerns, issues, and complaints proactively and professionally.Lead service recovery efforts and ensure guest satisfaction is maintained at the highest standards.Review guest feedback and follow up on improvement actions.Team Supervision & DevelopmentSupervise and guide the Front Office team during assigned shifts.Conduct briefings, allocate tasks, and oversee shift handovers.Support training, coaching, and performance development of team members.Promote a positive, supportive work environment that encourages teamwork and service excellence.Safety, Security & ComplianceServe as the hotel’s Manager on Duty (MOD), ensuring readiness to respond to emergency situations.Enforce safety, security, and cleanliness standards across Front Office and lobby areas.Coordinate with Security, Engineering, and other departments when needed.Administration & ReportingEnsure accurate handling of payments, billing, and cashiering procedures.Prepare daily operational reports and updates for management.Maintain updated guest profiles, reports, and communication logs.Qualifications & SkillsDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or Hotel Management.Minimum 3–5 years of Front Office experience in hotels, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or Duty Manager role (UAE experience preferred).Strong knowledge of PMS systems (Opera preferred).Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Strong guest relations and conflict-resolution capabilities.Ability to remain calm and make decisions in fast-paced environments.Professional grooming and strong interpersonal skills.Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
