Dynatrace Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Dynatrace Observability Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of observability solutions using Dynatrace, while guiding junior team members and ensuring successful project delivery.Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of Dynatrace observability solutions for complex applications and infrastructures.Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance and availability.Provide architectural guidance, best practices, and mentorship to junior consultants.Conduct health checks, performance reviews, and troubleshooting to enhance system reliability and efficiency.Stay updated on the latest trends in observability, monitoring, cloud platforms, and Dynatrace capabilities.Provide training and support to development and operations teams on the use of Dynatrace tools and methodologies.Contribute to the development and implementation of performance testing and benchmarking strategies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize application performance.Prepare clear technical documentation, including designs, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.Requirements:Minimum 4+ years working with Dynatrace, including hands-on design and implementation of observability solutions.Certifications such as: Dynatrace Associate, Dynatrace Professional, Dynatrace Services Delivery, Observability are highly preferred.Strong understanding of application performance management concepts and methodologies.Experience in troubleshooting and performance tuning of applications and infrastructure.Experience with performance testing and benchmarking tools and methodologies.Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.Skills:Strong understanding of observability concepts (metrics, logs, traces) Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Familiarity with containers (Kubernetes, Docker) Strong troubleshooting and analysis skillsExperience with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar platforms. Knowledge of scripting/automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell). Understanding of DevOps or ITIL practices.
