Hiring BackgroundDLG Consulting is seeking a senior e-commerce consultant specializing in Tmall platform operations to support our consulting business.Core PositioningThis is a hands-on, data-driven expert role. The ideal candidate will leverage profound experience in Tmall operations and performance marketing to provide professional consulting support for brand clients, helping them enhance e-commerce business performance.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Managing Director in client meetings and discussions with brand teams, accurately understand client needs, and provide professional solutionsDeliver expert guidance on end-to-end Tmall operations, including store management, traffic strategy, performance marketing, promotional planning, and store analyticsLead the analytical and operational assessment of clients’ businesses, identifying performance improvement opportunities through rigorous performance marketing analysis methodologiesCollaborate with local e-commerce teams and TPs, review and optimize partners’ proposals, and ensure high-quality project executionProficiently use Alimama tools and Tmall backend systems for business diagnostics, traffic planning, ROI analysis, and campaign optimizationRequirements10+ years of experience in China’s e-commerce industry; core requirement: 5+ recent years of in-depth hands-on experience with Tmall platformExpertise in Alimama marketing tools and Tmall backend operations, with proficient mastery of key performance marketing leversExperience in collaborating with TPs and managing marketplace operations, familiar with industry ecology and practical processesStrong analytical skills; ability to translate data into clear action plans and professional recommendationsComfortable working in a fast-paced, agile consulting environment with shifting prioritiesEnglish proficiency sufficient for internal communication (fluency not required)Work SetupFlexible work-from-home arrangement.
