Early Childhood Consultant/Professional Development Specialist TheCollaborative for Educational Services (CES) is currently recruitingEarly Childhood Consultants/Professional Development Specialists. Thisis a part-time position with hours fluctuating based on consultingrequests. Bilingual preferred. The CES Early Childhood Departmentprovides a range of services to educators and systems to promote schoolreadiness and positive outcomes for young children through enrichingdevelopmentally appropriate early learning experiences. All services arebased on our foundational commitment to Social Justice, Diversity,Equity, and Inclusion, and how to support early learners and theirfamilies with culturally responsive practices. CES EC consultants workwith school-based educators and administrators as well as EEC-approvedearly childhood providers, Early Intervention programs, and communityand social services agencies. This is important work that makes adifference in the lives of children, families, and educators. This is You: Youhold a degree in Early Childhood or Early Childhood Special Education;Master\'s degree or higher preferred. You have at least 5 years ofteaching experience in Early Childhood or Early Childhood SpecialEducation. You have at least 3-5 years coaching, mentoring and/orsupervisory experience of educators You have the ability to developinnovative practices and approaches that: are responsive to educatorneeds; new knowledge about learning; and new state and federalinitiatives You have strong writing, presentation, and speaking skillsHighlights of What You Will Do: Design and deliver professionaldevelopment (including workshops, courses, coaching, and mentoring)related to Early Childhood, Special Education, and/or inclusion, alignedto the MA High-Quality Professional Development Standards and informedby current research, for administrators, teachers, other licensededucators, and paraprofessionals. Provide consultation withschools/districts addressing high-quality developmentally appropriateearly childhood education, inclusion, equity, and related areas. Designand implement customized training programs for administrators,specialists, paraprofessionals, and other groups. Provide coaching,professional development, and other assistance, as requested. Identifyand nurture relationships with prospective professional developmentconsultants. This position is paid by the instructional hour. \$150 perhour of direct instruction includes preparation time and meetings.
