This is a new role created to lead transformation initiatives across the firm’s portfolio companies located in the western half of the United States.
The Vice President of Transformation will work directly with portfolio company CEOs, CFOs, and management teams, as well as the firm’s Operating Partners, to design and execute strategies that create the best possible companies. Position SummaryThe Vice President of Transformation will oversee transformation efforts for an active portfolio of 12 companies (with a consistent load of 10–15). This executive will guide operational improvement and change management initiatives across the firm’s western U. S. portfolio, working hand-in-hand with Operating Partners and company leadership to optimize performance, scale operations, and deliver measurable enterprise value. Key ResponsibilitiesOversee Portfolio Engagements:
Lead transformation initiatives across 12 portfolio companies, with a steady rotation of 10–15 active projects. Direct Engagement with Company Leadership: Work directly with portfolio company CEOs, CFOs, and management teams to design and implement value-creation strategies. Partner with Operating Partners: Collaborate with the firm’s Operating Partners to ensure transformation initiatives support portfolio-wide performance goals. Operational Excellence: Conduct performance assessments, identify inefficiencies, and implement initiatives across operations, finance, supply chain, systems, and commercial functions. Cross-Industry Impact: Apply expertise across SaaS, healthcare, consumer products, industrial services, manufacturing, sports, and entertainment. Best Practice Development:
Build playbooks, frameworks, and toolkits to drive consistency and scalability across portfolio companies. Performance Tracking: Define KPIs, establish dashboards, and report progress to portfolio leadership and PE stakeholders. Change Leadership: Drive organizational change and adoption of new processes, systems, and operating models. Capability Building: Mentor portfolio resources and contribute to strengthening internal transformation capacity. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or related field; MBA strongly preferred. 10–15+ years of leadership experience in transformation, operational improvement, or management consulting. Proven success leading large-scale transformations in private equity-backed companies.
Diverse industry background spanning SaaS, healthcare, manufacturing, consumer products, industrial services, sports, and entertainment. Deep expertise in enterprise transformation, operational improvement, and organizational change. Strong financial acumen with the ability to link operational initiatives to enterprise value. Executive presence with strong communication, influence, and relationship-building skills. Experience working directly with CEOs, CFOs, and PE Operating Partners.
