Role OverviewThe Ecommerce Manager will be responsible for managing and developing Phonetastic’s B2B digital platform, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for business clients and internal users alike. This role combines commercial insight with strong technical understanding of ecommerce systems and ERP integrations, acting as the bridge between the sales, IT, procurement, and marketing teams.You will work closely with:Online Manager – overseeing daily platform operations and the migration to the new version,Marketplace Specialist – aligning product categories and listings across online channels,Sales Director – driving commercial strategy and international development, as well as external partners involved in platform development, ERP integration, and digital marketing.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the daily operations and overall performance of the B2B ecommerce platform.Oversee product catalogue, pricing structures, promotions, and customer segmentation.Collaborate with the IT team and ERP provider to maintain data accuracy across systems (stock, prices, orders, product info).Coordinate with BigCommerce development partners on implementation, testing, and new feature launches.Identify and execute optimisation opportunities to improve platform performance, conversion rates, and user experience.Monitor and report on ecommerce KPIs (traffic, orders, conversion rates, customer behaviour).Support the launch of new functionalities such as:BuyBack programs,Customer loyalty schemes,International/multilingual storefronts.Manage integrations with ERP, payment processors, shipping partners, and marketing automation tools.Ensure content accuracy, correct tax and pricing logic, and compliance with local and EU regulations.Provide internal training and onboarding to support adoption of digital processes.Act as the main contact for ecommerce-related incidents or escalations, coordinating solutions with technical partners.Requirements & ExperienceMust-Have:4–6 years of experience managing an ecommerce platform, ideally within a B2B or wholesale/distribution environment.Hands-on experience with BigCommerce, Shopify Plus, or a comparable SaaS platform.Strong knowledge of ERP integration (preferably Senior Software, or SAP / Microsoft Dynamics).Understanding of APIs, data synchronisation, and digital workflows.Solid experience with product catalogue management, pricing logic, and order fulfilment flows.Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).Analytical mindset, with experience using Google Analytics (GA4) or Looker Studio.Excellent project coordination and communication skills, both in English and Romanian.Nice to Have:Experience with BigCommerce B2B Edition features (company accounts, quotes, shared carts).Familiarity with marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Klaviyo, Brevo).Background in consumer electronics or IT&C distribution.Exposure to digitalisation or business process optimisation projects.Soft SkillsStrong communication and collaboration skills across technical and commercial teams.Analytical, data-driven, and solution-oriented mindset.Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement.Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.Curious, adaptable, and aligned with Phonetastic’s digital growth journey.
