We are seeking a highly skilled E-commerce Technical Lead to oversee the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of our e-commerce platforms. You will be responsible for leading technical initiatives, ensuring scalability, security, and performance, and collaborating with product, commercial, and vendor teams to deliver world-class digital experiences.This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, strategy, and business delivery.Key Responsibilities:Platform & Technology LeadershipLead the design, development, and enhancement of e-commerce systems and platforms.Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to integrate and optimize solutions across Magento, Shopify, SANA, BigCommerce, or other platforms.Ensure e-commerce systems are scalable, secure, and perform optimally.Project & Delivery ManagementOwn end-to-end delivery of e-commerce technology projects, from scoping to completion.Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables with cross-functional teams.Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.Vendor & Stakeholder ManagementManage relationships with external technology vendors, ensuring SLAs are met.Negotiate contracts and manage budgets to optimize costs and service quality.Act as the technical liaison between product, commercial, and IT teams.Security, Compliance & PerformanceImplement and maintain security protocols for all e-commerce platforms.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS).Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvements.Team & Backlog ManagementMentor and lead development teams, fostering technical excellence and collaboration.Manage the technical backlog and prioritize features and improvements aligned with business goals.Collaborate on product roadmaps, ensuring technology solutions align with strategic objectives.Essential Skills & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).Proven experience leading e-commerce technology platforms (Magento, Shopify, SANA, BigCommerce, or similar).Strong experience in project delivery, vendor management, and stakeholder collaboration.Solid understanding of web technologies, architecture, and integrations (APIs, cloud-based solutions).Knowledge of security, compliance, and performance optimization standards.Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
