ECU System Tester

As the project is completed, we can continue to work with you by setting up your next project from our global network of leading technology companies.Join our latest project.Currently, we’re looking for an experienced ECU System Test Engineer with strong experience in automotive ECU verification, Python-based automation, and CANoe/CAN diagnostics, to help us provide solutions on a project based in Södertälje, Sweden.You’ll be involved in:Executing manual system-level test cases for automotive ECUsGradually transitioning into automated testing using Python-based internal frameworksSupporting verification leads by providing clear test coverage, traceability and documentationPerforming functional ECU validation, including communication, diagnostics, and safety-related behaviourAnalysing logs, identifying defects, and driving root cause investigations with development teamsWorking hands-on with bench/rig setups, CAN tools and system integration environmentsContributing to continuous improvement of testing processes as the project scalesIn order to suit the project requirements, you must have:5+ years’ experience in automotive system testing or ECU verificationProven background in manual test execution for embedded/ECU systemsExperience with Python scripting for test automation (pytest or internal frameworks)Strong experience using CAN tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, etc.) Understanding of UDS, DTCs, AUTOSAR diagnostic principlesExperience analysing ECU logs, signals, communication behaviour and integration resultsKnowledge of Functional Safety and/or Cyber Security principles (ISO 26262 awareness beneficial)Ability to work on-site in Södertälje in a rig/lab test environmentIf you have the relevant capability and are interested in pursuing this assignment, talk to our sales consultants today - alex.hope@cmcexpertisedelivered.comGet in touchLearn more about Coalesce Management Consulting, our projects and the support we provide to our consultants at: https://www.expertisedelivered.comNo terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate on the grounds of age or experience, and we confirm that we are happy to accept applications from persons of any age or experience for this role.
