Learn more at www.averydennison.com.Job Description 1- EHS:- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.- Conduct regular EHS inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.- Manage and report on EHS performance metrics, including incident rates, near-miss reports, sustainability and environmental monitoring data.- Collaborate with cross functional projects teams to implement EHS strong contractor safety and permit to work controls and mitigate risks.- Conduct regular trainings for contractors on Avery Dennison’s protocols 2- Customers and Systems Compliances: - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, labor laws, industry codes of conduct, and customer-specific compliance requirements.- Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.- Develop and implement corrective action plans to address compliance findings and ensure timely closure.- Collaborate with HR and production teams to promote fair labor practices, prevent child labor and forced labor, and ensure a respectful workplace.- Prepare and submit reports to management, customers, and regulatory authorities as required.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of EHS and compliance performance, audits, and corrective actions.- Manage and facilitate Customers, systems and other required audits as and when required.QualificationsQualifications- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science/ Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety or related field.- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in EHS and compliance, preferably in an apparel manufacturing setting.- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, labor laws, Systems Audits and industry codes of conduct (e.g. WRAP, BSCI, SA8000, SLCP, Higg FEM, SMETA).- Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.- Excellent Contractor Safety Management Skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.Nice to Have:- Certification in EHS or social compliance, such as IOSH, NEBOSH, ISO Lead Auditor Certification, Fire Safety Certifications.
