Responsibilities:Ensure the company's EHS policies and procedures are strictly implemented and monitor their application in production practices.Conduct regular inspections of the operational status of environmental, health, and safety facilities to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.Be responsible for reporting EHS management information to relevant government agencies, ensuring compliance and accuracy.Perform comprehensive and regular EHS inspections to identify and document potential risk points.Assess identified safety hazards, develop and execute corrective actions to ensure issues are resolved effectively and efficiently.Track and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Participate in incident investigations, analyze root causes, and propose preventive measures to reduce incident occurrence.Develop and update emergency response plans to enhance the company's capability to handle unexpected events.Organize emergency drills to improve staff emergency response skills.Formulate safety management systems for hazardous operations, ensuring strict implementation of work permit and supervision procedures.Provide safety supervision at hazardous work sites to ensure personnel adhere to safety protocols.Promptly address safety issues arising during hazardous operations and supervise the implementation of corrective measures.Participate in developing occupational health management systems and promote the implementation of occupational health activities.Organize and supervise employee occupational health examinations, analyze results, and propose improvement measures.Procure compliant personal protective equipment (PPE), monitor its correct use, and enhance employee occupational health awareness.Participate in establishing and optimizing the energy management system, promoting energy conservation and resource efficiency.Oversee the implementation of energy-saving measures, monitor energy consumption, and propose energy-saving improvement plans.Promote energy-saving technologies and practices, improve energy utilization efficiency, and organize energy conservation training.Assist project implementation in applying "Three Simultaneities" management, ensuring safety, environmental, and occupational health measures are planned, designed, and implemented simultaneously with construction projects.Participate in the establishment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of safety standardization, occupational health & safety, and environmental management systems (i.e., the three systems), ensuring the effective operation and compliance of the company's management systems with international and domestic standards.Assist in conducting internal audits and management reviews for the three systems to ensure their ongoing suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness.Conduct training and awareness activities related to the three systems to enhance overall employee understanding and implementation.Assist in handling external audits and certification processes related to the three systems, ensuring the company successfully passes relevant certifications.Requirements:Bachelor's degree or higher in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.Possession of relevant professional technical qualification certificates, such as Registered Safety Engineer or Environmental Engineer, is preferred.Familiarity with EHS management systems, such as ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management).Proficient knowledge in EHS risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response.Strong communication, coordination, and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing sector in Malaysia, with participation in safety and/or environmental projects and practical experience.Holding junior or intermediate professional technical title certificates and committed to continuously improving professional knowledge and skills.Possess fundamental knowledge of energy management and the ability to independently establish and perform accounting within an energy management system.
