We will only consider and retain the first three applications submitted.Objective of the traineeshipThe overall objective of the traineeship is to assist the International Partners Department (IP) in developing an internal IT tool contributing to strategic project origination and implementation across the Latin American, Sub-Saharan Africa and Asian continents in the following priority sectors;Clean and secure energy; Transport and connectivity; Digital inclusion; Water; Health; Human development; Agriculture, forestry and food security; Critical raw materials; Private sector development.ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of the Managerial Advisor, IP, you will actively participate in the Department's work regarding strategic project origination and implementation. Your main responsibility will be to:Consolidate available procurement market analysis for the regions and sectors mentioned above. Create an internal IT tool to support project origination and implementation.Test the operability and user friendliness of the internal IT tool with the Department's Loan Officers. Assess the requirements for updating and maintaining the internal IT tool over the next 5 years and propose a plan with milestone actions.Throughout the assignment, you will participate in cross-departmental and IP meetings and knowledge sharing sessions, as needed.Academic Qualifications And Professional SkillsFinal year of studies or University degree in Economics, Finance or Business. Strong technical and analytical skills. Knowledge of market analysis in Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa and/or Asia and of design of user friendly IT-tools will be an asset. Excellent organizational skills, communication and collaboration capabilities, as well as attention to details.Excellent knowledge of standard Microsoft Office tools (in particular Excel, Word) and experience with digital collaboration tools (in particular Copilot and SharePoint); Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.
