We will only consider and retain the first three applications submitted.Objective of the traineeshipSupport and contribute to the Compliance team with the performance and development of 1st line of defense compliance activities and controls, including reporting, to ensure AML/CFT requirements are consistently implemented. In addition, you shall assist in project focusing on the implementation of Market Abuse regulation-related automated controls, tools and reporting within the Finance Directorate. This includes supporting related technical developments and includes the use of AI based solutions.Support the Processes Team in updating and maintaining its process diagrams and procedure documents. Under the guidance of a supervisor, you will collect requirements and support in the configuration of new process diagrams as well as the update of existing ones, for FI internal and FI transversal activities. You will also support the identification and establishment of links to the Internal Control Framework (ICF) of the Bank and will ensure that FI activities are properly linked and represented in the EIB's overall activities’ structure.ResponsibilitiesYour main responsibilities will be:To ensure support of the Compliance team in their activities, assist in the day-to-day coordination and management of compliance and due diligence controls, activities and reporting for the alignment to AML/CFT, Market Abuse regulatory requirements.Support the implementation of automated controls also based on AI technology and including collaboration on technical developments and reporting in alignment with the requirements from the Market Abuse regulation.Support the review, update and creation of Process Diagrams for the Finance Directorate.Analyse the activities structure in Finance Directorate and ensure its alignment with the bank's activities' structure.Collaborate with Finance Directorate's teams and collect their requirements and comments on Risk and Controls of their activities and link them to the Directorate's Business Processes.Support the TPP Team in their periodic activities.Academic Qualifications And Professional SkillsFinal year of studies or University degree in Computer Sciences, Law, Business Management, Finance or related disciplines;Good understanding or experience in business analysis;Good understanding of compliance, regulatory and control functions in financial institutions;Knowledge of Business Process Modelling and relevant tools (like Visio, Mega Hopex or other) will be considered as an advantage.Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools, particularly MS 365;AI literacy will be considered an advantageExcellent knowledge of written and spoken English and/or French, and a solid understanding of the other.
