Job Description

JOB TITLE Electric Assembler CATEGORY Electrical DEPARTMENT Electrical Department RESPONSIBLE TO Electrical Engineer  GENERAL DESCRIPTION Responsible for the electrical installation and setup of industrial machinery at customer sites, ensuring full alignment with technical documentation and project plans. Acts as the key liaison between the client, the electrical technical office, and the project management team to guarantee timely, efficient, and high-quality execution.  PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES Assemble and commission equipment at TAVIL's headquarters, adjusting machinery using the customer’s product to ensure proper operation and gain full understanding of the system. Prepare the installation and all necessary auxiliary materials for shipment and assembly at the customer’s site. Perform on-site electrical installations for industrial projects. Supervise and report on the progress of electrical installations directly to the Electrical Technical Office Lead. Serve as the point of contact for addressing and resolving electrical-related issues during installations. Ensure all safety and quality standards are met throughout the installation process. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout all phases of the project. Proactively contribute to process improvements and suggest technical solutions to improve future installations. Support commissioning by performing functional tests and electrical adjustments alongside the programming team to ensure optimal system performance. Provide support to the After-Sales (SAT) team for inspections within the scope of electrical responsibilities. Support the After-Sales (SAT) team in electrical upgrades or retrofitting interventions when required.  COMPETENCIES Flexibility: Open to alternative viewpoints and willing to adjust procedures to meet overall project objectives. Initiative: Quickly identifies opportunities or issues and takes prompt action. Responsibility: Fully engaged and accountable throughout all phases of a project. Customer Focus: Proactive in addressing client needs and maintaining ongoing communication. Teamwork & Cooperation: Collaborates effectively, supports team decisions, and ensures transparency on project matters. Attention to Detail & Quality: Consistently checks work for accuracy to meet the company’s quality benchmarks. Communication Skills: Clearly conveys technical and operational information in a professional manner.  REQUIRED EDUCATION Higher Vocational Training in Electricity Intermediate Vocational Training in Electricity  TECHNICAL SKILLS Senior profile with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical installations (residential experience not applicable). Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, 2D machine layouts, and pneumatic diagrams. Familiar with stainless steel cutting tools for cable trays and conduit installations. Knowledge of pneumatics. Knowledge of basic office software (MS Office, etc.). Skilled in the use of tools such as threading drills, cutting and crimping tools, cable testers, voltage/current meters, and communication cable testers.  LANGUAGES English: Proficient Spanish: Advanced  REQUIREMENTS Valid U.S. driver’s license and passport. Valid certification to operate aerial work platforms (scissor lifts, boom lifts). Willingness to travel up to 85% (domestic and international). Must be based in, or willing to relocate to Pennsylvania—ideally near the Fredericksburg area, due to major customer projects during the first years. Electrical certification (e.g., Arc Flash, UL installations). OSHA 10/30 preferred (or commitment to complete company-sponsored training). Comfortable working at height and using aerial platforms (OSHA-compliant). Forklift certification (OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178 – Powered Industrial Trucks) is a strong asset.
