Electrical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and test electrical systems, equipment, and components. • Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation. • Ensure compliance with industry codes, safety standards, and regulations. • Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during installation and maintenance phases. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems. • Estimate costs, timelines, and material requirements for projects. • Research and implement new technologies to improve system efficiency and performance. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred for senior roles). • Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred or required depending on region and level). • Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN) and circuit design tools. • Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE). • Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, or embedded systems (role-dependent). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Work Environment: • Office and on-site environments (factories, construction sites, plants, etc.). • May involve travel for inspections, testing, and implementation. • Use of safety equipment may be required in field locations.
