Electrical Design Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer with 5 to 7 years of proven experience in managing electrical design and construction activities for infrastructure and residential projects within Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, with demonstrated capabilities in project Electrical system Design, supervision, and technical leadership. This position involves travel to various project sites across the Kingdom. Key Responsibilities: DESIGN Design low and medium voltage electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, Calculations, and earthing systems. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other electrical engineering design software. Prepare and review electrical calculations, design drawings, load schedules, and technical specifications in compliance with local and international standards. Proficient in electrical engineering design software, DIALUX, ETAP, ECODIAL, etc. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Architectural engineers for integrated projects. Ensure design compliance with Codes and Standards, SBC, SEC, RC, NEC, IEC, NFPA, etc. Participate in meetings with client, Consultants and authorities during design process. Review and comment on drawings, material submittals, and as-built drawings to ensure alignment with project requirements. SUPERVISION Supervise electrical works on-site and enforce adherence to approved designs, safety protocols, and national/international codes. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Architectural, and Safety engineers for integrated project execution. Participate in meetings with clients, Consultants and authorities during Execution process. Review and comment on shop drawings, material submittals, and as-built drawings to ensure alignment with project requirements. Ensure all materials, installation methods, and equipment adhere to specifications, quality control, and regulatory compliance. Conduct routine site inspections to verify quality, progress, and safety. Maintain comprehensive project documentation including technical reports, inspection records, and progress reports. Implement energy-efficient and cost-effective electrical engineering solutions. Willingness to travel to remote sites and manage projects across different regions within Saudi Arabia.  Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles in building services, infrastructure, and industrial systems. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM tools, and other relevant electrical design platforms. Strong familiarity with Saudi Building Codes, IEC, NFPA, and other international electrical standards. Capable of producing and reviewing single-line diagrams, cable schedules, load calculations, and technical documentation. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).   Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Valid license and classification from the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE). Fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic is an advantage. Professional certifications (e.g., LEED, PMP, or electrical-specific certifications) are a plus.  Experience: 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering design and supervision within the Saudi Arabian. Proven track record of coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, managing contractors, and delivering complex electrical systems. Strong understanding of Saudi Design, construction practices, electrical safety protocols, and regulatory frameworks.   Other Requirements: Willingness to travel frequently and work across multiple project sites in Saudi Arabia. Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills. Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet project deadlines.
