We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team and help drive the growth of our services within the industrial construction sector.Position Overview:As an Electrical Engineer at MeadowBrook Construction, you will be a vital part of our sales and technical team, responsible for driving business growth, managing customer relationships, and promoting our services. You will work closely with both clients and internal teams to develop customized solutions for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural needs, helping customers optimize their operations. Your ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into actionable proposals will be key to your success in this role.Key Responsibilities:Meet with clients to understand project requirements and prepare design proposals.Develop electrical designs, including single-line diagrams, schematic and wiring diagrams, layout drawings, life safety design, patient care area design, generator design, and more.Perform critical calculations such as load calculations, voltage drop/cable sizing, cable tray filling, and cable pulling.Conduct comprehensive site reviews to assess site conditions and ensure code compliance.Participate in feasibility studies to support project planning and execution.Visit project sites to review ongoing work and provide site instructions.Support electrical contractors through site meetings, shop drawing reviews, RFI responses, and other technical guidance.Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to integrate project requirements.Supervise and mentor junior engineers and designers through coaching and training initiatives.Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and P.Eng License in Ontario is required,5-10 years of experience in electrical engineering.Proficiency in AutoCAD and related design software.Strong knowledge of electrical design standards/codes, including CSA, IEEE, ANSI/IEC, and provincial/regional codes such as OESC, OBC, and OFC.Field experience in on-site surveys, construction support, and commissioning activities.Project management experience is an asset.Knowledge in arc flash study is an asset.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: CA$100,000 - CA$150,000/yearBenefits:Casual dressCompany eventsDental careEmployee assistance programExtended health careLife insuranceOn-site parkingPaid time offProfit sharingVision careEducation:Bachelor's Degree (required)Experience:Electrical Design: 4 years (required)Electrical Engineering: 5 years (required)Construction: 4 years (required)Licence/Certification:Professional Engineer Licence (P.
