As a site Electrical Engineer, you'll be directly responsible for overseeing the design, operation and maintenance of high voltage electrical systems for our chemical manufacturing facilities at Welland. The Niagara Falls Facility operates various process and utility systems that include chemicals, gasses, a variety of electrical systems, water systems, HVAC, waste, vacuum, and controls. The unit runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The selected candidate will work closely with the manufacturing team to understand how the utility systems impact the process as well as how to reduce consumption.The successful candidate will be proficient in High and Medium voltage substation and distribution project planning, design, construction, and commissioning; it is expected that they have an understanding of requirements and limitations in the following key expertise areas.This position will be reporting to the Site Projects Group Manager.We can count on you to:Have direct communication with the primary electrical utility provider for the site.High voltage and Medium voltage Protection and Control Operation and Maintenance coordination.
