Electrical Estimator (Power Generation & Energy Storage) – HybridLocation: Citywest (Dublin) or Newcastle West (Limerick)Salary: €65,000–€75,000 DOE + benefitsContract: Permanent, Full-time · HybridReports to: Director of SalesSector: Generators, BESS & UPSWe’re hiring an Electrical Estimator for a long-established power solutions provider operating across Ireland, the UK and Europe. Ideal for someone with 2–3 years’ estimating experience who wants to grow in a supportive, expert team.What you’ll doReview tender packs (drawings, specs, scope) and identify assumptions/risks.Prepare take-offs and BOQs; build cost estimates for labour, materials, plant, and sub-packages.Source supplier/subcontractor quotes; resolve basic technical queries with guidance.Support bid submissions: scope letters, clarifications, exclusions, and pricing schedules.Maintain rates and libraries in estimating tools/Excel; help with cost tracking and VE options.Collaborate with Sales, Projects and Procurement to meet deadlines and win work.What you’ll bring2–3 years’ electrical estimating experience (power systems, M&E, industrial or similar).Ability to read electrical schematics/drawings and perform accurate quantity take-offs.Proficient in Excel (formulas, lookups) and familiar with take-off/estimating software.Strong organisation, attention to detail, and clear communication with suppliers and teams.Nice to have: exposure to generators/UPS/BESS or LV/MV distribution.Benefits€65k–€75k base salary (DOE)Company phone & laptopPension schemeIncome Protection & Death in ServiceHybrid work, supportive culture, and clear development path (mentoring/training provided)How to applySend your CV (plus a short note on your estimating experience and availability).
