Electrical & Instrumentation Section Head

Birla Carbon Egypt is seeking a qualified and motivated Electrical & Instrumentation Section Head to join our Maintenance Department. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong technical background and a commitment to operational excellence in industrial environments.Key Responsibilities:Plan, execute, and optimize the operation and maintenance of field instrumentation and electrical systems.Ensure compliance with international safety standards and company policies in all E&I activities.Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and long-term sustainability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production and engineering to support plant performance and improvement initiatives.Lead continuous improvement and modernization initiatives for instrumentation and control systems to support uninterrupted plant operations.Ensure all systems meet performance standards and align with site reliability targets.Oversee compliance with preventive maintenance schedules and support the development of care plans for E&I assets.Conduct root cause analysis for electrical and instrumentation failures and implement corrective actions.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation roles, preferably within the chemical or industrial manufacturing sector.Proven experience working in a multinational environment with exposure to global standards and practices.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.Residency in Alexandria is mandatory.If you meet the above qualifications we invite you to please send your CV to: ahmed.mahfouz@birlacarbon.com, Email Subject : E&I Section Head
