Electronic Control Technician

We're Hiring: Electronic Control Technician Location: Cayman Islands Job Type: Full-Time Compensation: KYD $18.75 – $24.00 per hour The Security Centre, the leading provider of electronic security and smart automation solutions in the Cayman Islands, is seeking an experienced and motivated Electronic Control Technician to join our team. This is a key technical role supporting the installation, service, and maintenance of a wide range of electronic systems across residential and commercial projects.Key Responsibilities Include:Installation, servicing, and maintenance of intruder alarm systems, CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and gate automation systemsSetup and servicing of audio-visual and smart home automation systems (e.g., Control4)Cable installation, panel terminations, programming, and system commissioningConducting inspections, fault diagnosis, and remote supportCollaborating with project and sales teams for system design and client handoversEnsuring compliance with all health and safety standards and company policiesRequired Qualifications and Experience:Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in the electronic security industryCertification or degree in electronics or electrical engineering preferredProven ability to work with a wide range of security and control systemsStrong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with IP networks and system integrationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and maintain high standards of customer serviceAdditional Requirements:Must provide own hand tools, including a multimeter (specialist equipment may be provided)Must obtain a Cayman Islands driver’s license within three months of arrivalResponsible for maintaining a valid Security Technician’s License annuallyOccasional travel to sister islands may be requiredIf you are a self-motivated technician with a strong technical background and a commitment to quality and customer service, we would like to hear from you.To Apply: Please submit your resume and cover letter to : CAREERS - The Security Centre To learn more about our company, visit : The Security Centre - Protecting Your World.#Hiring #ElectronicTechnician #SecuritySystems #CaymanIslandsJobs #Control4 #CCTV #AccessControl #SmartHome #FireAlarmSystems #TechJobs
