Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and pragmatic Test Automation Engineer consultant to join our Healthcare product team on a temporary basis. The focus of this consultancy is to establish and mature test automation practices while enabling the team to become completely independent in their workflows over time. The ideal candidate will balance hands-on implementation with strong communication, mentorship, and education, ensuring that testing and validation become an integral part of the team’s Definition of Done.

Our product focuses on building Patient Support Solutions as Health Software and must adhere to regulatory and quality standards associated with global and local healthcare requirements. Main Responsibilities: Manage and implement the integration of test automation into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring that E2E tests and other automated tests are executed efficiently and effectively as part of the deployment process. Key responsibilities include: Collaborate closely with the team to establish test automation practices from the ground up. Educate and empower the team to integrate testing and validation as a core responsibility.

Articulate test automation principles effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Align testing components with Requirements-As-Code methodologies. Establish and optimize testing frameworks and tools using Azure Pipelines and Playwright. Promote a "quality-first" culture within the team. Work in a fully DevOps-oriented setup, addressing technical debt alongside feature development. Mentor team members and guide them in building confidence in automated testing approaches. Collaborate with both local and remote team members to streamline coordination. Key Requirements: Hands-on experience with Azure Pipelines, Azure DevOps, and Playwright. Proven ability to work in a DevOps-focused environment.

Deep expertise in setting up test automation frameworks, including E2E testing. Familiarity with automating testing workflows and Requirements-As-Code practices. Strong facilitation and mentoring skills. Excellent collaboration skills. Ability to iteratively break down complex challenges. Comfortable working as part of a product team in the greenfield phase. A "do’er" mentality with ownership of outcomes. Nice to Have: Experience in regulated industries, particularly healthcare. Comfort with asynchronous collaboration practices. Knowledge of additional testing tools or frameworks. Consultant Position: Test Automation EngineerDuration: 3 to 4 months - if possible, start mid-AugustLocation: Ørestad, Copenhagen.

Expect 3-4 days per week in the office (on-site majority with coordinated flexibility)
