Job Description

Embraer VPFWe are looking for a Finance Analyst to join our Finance team at our EMEA Headquarters in Amsterdam. FINANCE ANALYSTPurpose Of the RoleIn this role, you’ll handle cost, income tax, and VAT activities in line with Dutch legislation, ensuring compliance while supporting business operations. You’ll work closely with our ERP systems, monitor regulatory changes, and act as a key point of expertise on tax and fiscal matters. Carrying out cost, Income tax and VAT activities in accordance with the local law and procedures, in observance of Embraer Group standards and the procedures in force.

Main Tasks & ResponsibilitiesEnsure that the existing ERP configurations within the companies are aligned with Dutch fiscal practices, particularly regarding cost treatment, income tax, and VAT. Stay up to date with Dutch tax legislation and communicate relevant changes clearly and promptly to management and other impacted teams. Ensure the correct treatment of transactions for income tax and VAT purposes, in accordance with Dutch tax regulations. Be responsible for all ancillary activities related to income tax, VAT, and costs, ensuring compliance with local legislation as well as with the company’s internal reporting standards.

Act with diligence and maintain a posture of ‘professional scepticism’ when performing and supervising activities and processes under your responsibility, including but not limited to: -Maintaining focus and attention to the accuracy and validity of the data under analysis; -Requesting additional documentation when necessary to support the analysis; -Identifying, communicating, escalating, and assisting in resolving potential risk situations (“red flags”) or issues related to compliance with company policies and procedures. -This approach must be applied even when prior reviews and approvals have been conducted.

In addition to the responsibilities listed above, the role must also fulfill other unspecified fiscal duties necessary to support the objectives of the team and/or the organization, always with a focus on costs, income tax, and VAT applicable in the Netherlands. Profile of the Suitable Candidate: Minimum five years’ experience performing finance and tax;Bachelor’s degree or Integrated master’s degree in accounting, management, law or accounting (or in a similar area). Strong knowledge of finance fundamentalsStrong math and organizational skills, communicative and approachable. SAP ERP system skills.

Proficiency in English is mandatory any additional languages such as Portuguese, Dutch or other European languages are a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Eligible to live and work in Europe.
