With reporters stationed around the world, we enlighten and inspire audiences with authoritative, differentiated and trusted financial news and commentary.Position Summary:We are currently searching for an Enterprise Sales Director who will be responsible for identifying and developing sales opportunities both independently and in collaboration with our global news distribution partners in the broader EMEA region.The ideal candidate will have a “hunter” type of profile and the desire to aggressively grow the MT Newswires footprint throughout the EMEA region. The focus will be on growing business within the territory - both with existing and new accounts - by deploying a targeted sales strategy that includes building a healthy prospecting pipeline, developing strong industry relationships, and closing enterprise deals with large, recognizable financial firms.Duties and Responsibilities:Originate new sales opportunities throughout the EMEA territory to meet assigned sales goals and revenue targetsUse appropriate techniques to build and manage a pipeline of new business targets and progress complex sales cyclesCoordinate trials and manage product evaluations with prospective clientsEstablish relationships with key client contacts within the industry and contribute to strengthening the MT Newswires brand by representing the company at key events.Work collaboratively with MT Newswires’ network of distribution partners to optimise growth opportunitiesContribute to the EMEA growth strategy through pro-active knowledge of the territory, including market themes, competitive landscape, key contacts, etc.Undertake appropriate business travel to develop pipeline and key relationshipsQualifications:3-5+ years of sales success within a B2B subscription environment within the publishing/data/business information industry. Financial news/data sales experience preferred, but not necessary.Extensive sales and relationship management experience is required, preferably within the financial services sector.Strong negotiation skills and able to influence key decision makers throughout the sales process.Entrepreneurial style, drive and sense of urgency, coupled with the ability to work well with others as part of a solution team.
