Administer, maintain, and optimize Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence platforms. Configure workflows, permission schemes, custom fields, dashboards, automation rules, and issue types to support business processes. Serve as the primary liaison between business units and technical teams for all Atlassian-related requirements. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements for scalability and resilience. Ensure data integrity, manage backups, and perform regular system updates and patching. Develop training materials and provide ongoing support to users and teams. Enforce security protocols, access controls, and compliance standards aligned with financial industry regulations.
Collaborate with DevOps, Cybersecurity, and Infrastructure teams for integrated tooling and reporting. Requirements: Required SkillsHands-on experience administering Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence in a complex, enterprise-level environmentDeep understanding of workflow design, permission schemes, custom fields, dashboards, automation rules, and issue typesStrong proficiency in configuring Atlassian tools to meet diverse business and operational needsSolid troubleshooting skills, performance monitoring, and maintenance experienceFamiliarity with ITSM principles and tools such as Jira Service ManagementKnowledge of security protocols, access controls, and data governance in regulated industriesExcellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills for training and supportPreferred/Valued ExperienceScripting knowledge (e. g.
, Groovy, Python) and experience with tools like ScriptRunner, Automation for JiraIntegration experience with Active Directory, CI/CD pipelines, or other enterprise systemsExposure to financial industry standards and regulatory requirements (GDPR, PCI, ISO 27001, ISO 20022 etc)Experience customizing Confluence spaces, templates, and macros for advanced documentation workflowsFamiliarity with Atlassian Cloud and Data Center environmentsEducationBachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
