Emirates SkyCargo is looking for a Cargo Operations Supervisor to ensure seamless day-to-day cargo operations, deliver superior service to our customers, and uphold Emirates’ world-class standards. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the services provided by Ground Handling Agents (GHA) and third-party contractors, ensuring they meet Emirates’ world-class standards. You’ll resolve operational challenges such as delays, disruptions, or cargo mishandling, while maximizing cargo space utilization and efficiency.
Your responsibilities will also include reviewing and compiling cargo documentation in compliance with local regulations and company policies, as well as ensuring the accurate completion of all post-flight activities. Handling customer queries, complaints, and claims in a professional and timely manner will be a key part of your role, along with maintaining and updating cargo systems to ensure smooth customer service delivery and accurate revenue accounting. In this role, you will be responsible for motivating, training, and providing constructive feedback to staff to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the highest service standards.
You will manage essential administrative functions such as staff rostering, performance appraisals, and resource ordering, while also supervising day-to-day cargo operations to guarantee safety, efficiency, and compliance with company procedures. Acting as the senior in charge during shifts without a manager or officer, you will play a key role in maintaining smooth operations and supporting both staff and business needs. The job holder is also responsible for adhering to the relevant health and safety requirements and safe working practices applicable to their employment.

QualificationIf you have 4–6 years of cargo operations experience with a proven track record of leading teams, we’d love to hear from you! You should bring solid knowledge of Dangerous Goods regulations, Weight & Balance, and Live Animal Regulations, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and fluency in English (plus the local language, where applicable) will set you up for success in this role.
