Employment Relationship OfficerRMA – The Royal Marines CharityCTCRM, LympstoneFull-time | 35 hours/week | Office-based with Travel (Monday to Friday)£28,000 (Depending on Experience)About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Employment and Education team at RMA – The Royal Marines Charity. As our Employment Relationship Officer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting Service Leavers, Veterans, those being medically discharged, and their families as they transition into civilian employment and education.You’ll be part of a forward-thinking, compassionate team committed to delivering tailored career guidance and building strong employer relationships that create meaningful opportunities for our Corps family.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Support & Career Guidance• Conducting holistic assessment to identify wider needs and inform the development of tailored one-to-one career consultations and personalised career plans. Utilise trusted SME’s with sectors for mentoring/advice• Provide expert support with CV writing, job applications, and interview preparation.• Conduct regular follow-ups at 3, 6, 9, and 12-month intervals to monitor progress and offer continued support.• Facilitate and process grant applications in line with charity guidelines.Employer Engagement• Build and maintain strong relationships with employers to secure long-term support for beneficiaries and the charity.• Advocate for the employment of veterans and service leavers, promoting the Armed Forces Covenant and Employer Recognition Scheme.• Attend networking events to expand employer engagement and source valuable opportunities.Programme Support• Assist in the delivery of workshops and training sessions alongside the Head of Employment and Education.• Contribute to the continuous improvement of employment support services and the development of new initiatives.Monitoring & Reporting• Maintain accurate records in line with GDPR using Dynamics 365 and other platforms.• Produce data and reports for internal and external stakeholders.Collaboration & Networking• Work closely with internal teams and external partners to provide holistic support.• Act as a liaison between beneficiaries, employers, charity partners, and stakeholders.• Support charity events and weekend activities (TOIL provided).Skills & Attributes• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a military or charitable organisation.
