Job DescriptionOur Workforce Advisory has a clear focus on providing a high-touch, value-add advisory and compliance service to a diverse client portfolio. We deliver on a range of projects, from complex workforce tax advice, payroll and superannuation reviews and tax managed services for some of Australia’s largest employers. Our national team has experienced significant growth and is recruiting experienced talent to join our team in Sydney.Your Opportunity As a valued part of Workforce Advisory team within our Tax & Legal division, this role will support in leadership and mentoring for junior team members, as well as delivering on advisory and compliance engagements for clients. In this role you will beConsulting to Australia’s largest employers, both corporate and government, on Employment Taxes, including Fringe Benefit Tax, payroll tax, PAYG withholding and Superannuation Guarantee obligations. Helping to develop our employment tax compliance solutions including the use of data analytics and robotic process automation.Helping develop remediation and payroll compliance solutions with the use of data analytics to assist organisations in resolving payroll and employer obligations issues.Resolving disputes and investigations with tax authorities. Helping to grow our national network and shaping our future employment tax offerings. Working within our wider Workforce Advisory business, alongside a young and vibrant national team with a collaborative culture and strong growth mindset. Developing and growing external client and internal KPMG relationships. Your ExperienceCollaborative and Client-Focused Mindset Eager to work as part of a national team supporting clients across diverse industries with complex tax and payroll compliance issues, including opportunities to work onsite within client businesses.Strong Technical and Analytical Skills Brings 1–3 years of employment tax experience working in tax or payroll, using MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills, and proven confidence in handling data and performing detailed analysis.Adaptable and Growth-Oriented Skilled at managing multiple priorities independently and within teams, with a strong attention to detail and a desire to continuously learn and embrace new technologies and ways of working.
