THE COMPANYOn behalf of our client, a leading International Group of Companies operating in the Energy sector, we seek to recruit a self-motivated and high calibre individual for the position of Energy Commercial Operations Officer, to be based in Nicosia, Cyprus.THE POSITIONThe successful candidate will be responsible for driving the Company’s commercial operations by building successful business relationships with clients, effectively handling contracts and other client-related processes, and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders, under the guidance of the Energy Supervisor.More specifically, the responsibilities of the successful candidate will be the following, amongst others:Manage direct communication and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring the timely and satisfactory resolution of requests related to energy servicesHandle, process, and oversee client contracts with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring all documentation complies with company policies and regulatory requirementsCoordinate and finalize the energy supplier changes process in line with market regulations and internal proceduresEnsure accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of all client-related processes, while contributing to the growth of the electricity portfolio and enhancing overall client satisfactionIdentify opportunities for the development and implementation of process improvements, including process standardization and automation initiatives so as to strengthen the overall efficiency of commercial operationsPrepare, update, and maintain detailed operational reports (e.g., contract statuses, KPIs, etc.)Collaborate effectively with internal teams (Regulatory & Compliance, Finance, Operations, Sales, Management) to ensure regulatory compliance and seamless service deliveryLiaise with external partners, governmental and regulatory authorities (e.g., DSO, TSO, CERA) to support market operations and fulfill regulatory obligationsPerform any other relevant duties as assigned by the Energy SupervisorREQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in EngineeringMaster’s degree in Energy, Sustainability or a related field will be considered an advantageAt least two (2) years of proven experience in a similar role / job positionStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to negotiate effectively with clientsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships with clients, internal teams and external stakeholdersClient-focused mindset and responsiveness to client needs and concernsConfidence in preparing and delivering presentationsGreat attention to detail in managing contracts, compliance documentation, and operational processesExcellent organisational skills and ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment by effectively prioritizing and managing multiple tasks in adherence to deadlinesExcellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and writtenExcellent computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft OfficeREMUNERATIONA competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate according to qualifications and experience.APPLICATIONSAll applications will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.Interested applicants can apply through LinkedIn or through www.cydeloittecareers.com selecting the “Energy Commercial Operations Officer” vacancy under “Vacancies at Deloitte Clients” no later than Friday, 19th of December 2025.Kindly note that only successful candidates will be contacted for this position.
