Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performanceUniversity of Nottingham Ningbo China is seeking to recruit an Engagement ManagerYour ResponsibilitiesThe Engagement Manager in Development and Alumni Relations Office (DARO) is responsible for designing and implementing strategies that foster stronger relationships with alumni, donors, and other key stakeholders. Through creative engagement initiatives, targeted communications, and meaningful campaigns, the Manager strengthens the UNNC’s support network and drives involvement in advancement initiatives.This role oversees the creation of compelling content, ensures consistent brand messaging, and leverages data-driven insights to enhance engagement. Working collaboratively across teams, the Engagement Manager plays a key part in promoting DARO’s mission, celebrating the impact of philanthropy and alumni contributions, and supporting the overall goals of the Development and Alumni Relations Office.Your Key Responsibilities IncludeDonor and Alumni EngagementCollaborates with team members to develop and implement DARO's overall engagement strategies to strengthen connections with donors, alumni and other stakeholders;Regularly manages and updates the annual engagement calendar to track requirements, projects, and timelines;Works closely with the team to create various types of content including impact stories, reports, newsletters, media releases, videos, slide decks and booklets etc.;Manages DARO’s social media channels, including producing and promoting high-quality and creative content, proofreading, translating and editing material, and checking content for accuracy;Monitor analytics and track engagement to evaluate campaign effectiveness and inform future strategies.Brand Asset ManagementManages all DARO’s brand assets and oversees the aesthetic direction and graphic design of all marketing materials.Coordinates the production and inventory of branded souvenirs (e.g., gifts, bags, stationery)Administrative SupportMonitors expenditures for marketing and engagement initiatives;Processes invoices and purchase orders related to engagement team;Provides event support including event registration, attendee tracking, and onsite logistics.EssentialAbout YouBachelor's degree2+ years' work experiences in news writing and reporting, marketing, branding, graphic design and social media management;Excellent bilingual communications skills in Chinese and English, both written and spoken;Proficient in creating reports and storytelling materials;Solid aesthetic ability to work with 3rd party designers for print materials and publications;Good understanding of higher education institutions and universities;Experience in project management, including planning, execution and monitoring of projects;Experience of coping with office administrative affairs.DesirablePostgraduate qualification in relevant fields or substantial experience in journalism/ marketing/ public relations/ nonprofit management or a related field;Work experience with traditional or new media organisations preferred;Work or volunteer experience in multinational organisations or companies;Knowledge of graphic design applications (Such as Adobe creative suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, Illustrator, etc.).About UsJoin a unique British University in China.
