DescriptionRyanair are currently recruiting for an Engine Shop Engineer to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group.This is an excellent time to join Ryanair as we look to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300m guests within the next 10 years.Reporting to the Head of Engine MRO, the Engine Shop Engineer will support directly in establishing and leading the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul facility for CFM56 and LEAP engines.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in Identification of all process flows to maximize efficiency driving industry leading TATAssist in Identification of all tooling and equipment required to support the facilities operations including Engine Test CellAssist in development of operational procedures and control standards for the facility ensuring compliance with all relevant aviation regulations and safety standards.Identify all training and recruitment needs of staff and liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure all staffing requirements are deliveredCoordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project milestones are metSupport the development and management of the project budgetSupport identification of key risk areas and risk mitigations solutions.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul, with specific experience on CFM56 and LEAP engines.Strong leadership and project management skillsExcellent analytical and project management skillsExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safetyBenefitsCompetitive salaryDiscounted and unlimited travel to over 230 destinationsDefined Contribution Pension SchemeDeath in Service Benefit – Up to 2 times of annual basic salary20 Days Annual Leave – Increasing to 22 days after 12 months and 25 days after 3 years of continuous service.Option for up to 5 additional unpaid leave days per yearCycle 2 Work SchemeUnrivalled career progressionCompetencies
