Engineer SURF

JOB PURPOSE: To provide technical support to Lead Engineer SURF and perform engineering calculation/ analysis, drawings/ layouts and package specifications for project execution within stipulated schedule and cost.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:Develop and perform engineering deliverables for SURF System in Technology-OBU, to ensure safe, fit-for-purpose, robust and cost-effective floating offshore facilities design and operation.Develop SURF design and operation philosophy, basis of design, functional specification and SOW for MSQ / RFQ of mooring engineering sub-contracting services.Develop and perform the engineering deliverables as per project planning and schedule.JOB REQUIREMENT:Relevant recognized qualifications – Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Naval Architecture, Marine or other related engineering) discipline.Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in engineering design of SURF systems for floating offshore facilities, including:Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in design and engineering of SURF for floating offshore facilities (e.g. FPSO / FSO, FLNG, CALM buoy, etc.).Experience and competent in the use of relevant analysis software, (e.g. Orcaflex, Hydrostar, Ariane7, AQWA, ABAQUS/ ANSYS, etc.).Experienced in the use of relevant programming language, i.e. Python, Matlab, etc.Only shortlisted candidate will be contacted.
