Process Engineer – Supply ChainYou’ll love it here! We are hiring immediately for a process engineer, which we call an engineering analyst, supply chain to join our team. In this role you will make a positive impact on our warehouse operations everyday through the continuous improvement projects you work on.In this role, the successful candidate will be required to work onsite at our Langley, BC distribution center.Join our collaborative team and make an impact as a process engineering analyst!What You’ll DoCollaborate with engineering team members and key stakeholders to gather project requirements, propose creative and effective design solutions, and convert high-level concepts into detailed, actionable plans for execution on the floorApply Lean Six Sigma principles to identify quantifiable continuous improvement opportunities in existing business processesLead DC layout optimization and labor efficiency improvement initiativesSupport major project planning and the implementation of cost-saving initiativesHelp establish work measurements and work standard through time studies, work samples analysis or benchmarking methodsServe as the liaison between the engineering team and DC operations to support day-to-day operations and address seasonal challengesProvide support on data collection, data extraction, analysis and present report in visual chartsAble to utilize power query in reporting: Excel and Power BIDevelop forecasting models using processed dataEngage with IT and other stakeholders to streamline and automate processesWhat We’re Looking ForA bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or equivalentMinimum 1 year of prior experience in process engineeringPrior experience working on warehouse related initiativesExperience with data analysis tools like SQL (PLSQL), VBA and proficiency in ExcelKnowledge of BI tools (Power BI), Statistics, MS VisoExperience with modern WMS (Blue Yonder), ASRS, WFM and AutoCAD is an assetCertification in Lean and Six Sigma Green belt is an assetWhy You’ll Love It HereEmployee discounts on awesome tech from day one.Training programs to build new and transferable skills.100% matched company pension plan.TFSA and RRSP programs.Flexible health benefits and wellness program.About Best Buy CanadaAs Canada's destination for the coolest tech, Best Buy offers one of the best work environments in the country!
