Engineering Laboratory Technician

We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced individuals with good knowledge in material testing according to the standard test methods such as ASTM, AASHTO, BS, ISO etc. to join our Material Laboratory team.About the Role - The 'Material Laboratory Technician' will be responsible to perform laboratory tests in accordance with the assigned standard test methods and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of results. This role requires technical knowledge of materials testing methods, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.ResponsibilitiesConduct assigned laboratory tests on construction materials, including concrete, asphalt, soil, aggregates, and metals etc. according to the standard test methods and report results.Accurately document test results and ensure that worksheets are filled adequately during testing.Use only calibrated equipment for testing purposes, where necessary, to ensure accuracy and compliance.Interpret test results and prepare detailed reports.Conduct visual inspections to assess the quality of materials and workmanship.Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.Adhere to all safety protocols by wearing necessary safety gear while performing tests.Conduct tests for internal quality control samples and proficiency test samples, and report findings to the Unit Head.Qualifications - Candidates holding Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering are preferred.Pay range and compensation package - Salary package commensurate with qualification and experience.
