Driven by continuous innovation and a customer-first approach, Tradeling Group empowers businesses to trade smarter, faster, and more efficiently across MENA.Role OverviewThe Marketplace Manager is responsible for driving the profitable revenue growth of local and international vendors selling on the Tradeling Platform. This role leads the end-to-end P&L of the Marketplace business unit and plays a critical role in Tradeling’s journey toward profitability and customer relevance.You will lead a team responsible for onboarding, growing, and managing high-quality sellers, expanding the product assortment, defining and executing seller enablement strategies, and developing partnerships — all while maintaining strong unit economics across growth margin, logistics, and marketing investments.Key KPIs Include: Revenue, Margin (GP1/2/3), Seller Score.Reports to: Director - Marketplace & Cross BorderKey ResponsibilitiesRevenue & ProfitabilityDrive marketplace revenue growth both online and offline by ensuring the right assortment at the right price.Develop new Route To Markets to guarantee sell out.Optimize commission structures and introduce value-added services to improve margins.Seller ManagementAcquire, train, and manage a base of sellers on the platform.Define acquisition channels, build onboarding and training SOPs, and develop structured communication and performance management plans.Resolve seller issues promptly and effectively.Maintain high seller scoreProduct & Process DevelopmentDefine the tech product roadmap and collaborate closely with the Product team to ensure seller tools and features support business objectives.Develop scalable SOPs and operational processes to enable rapid growth.Partnerships & Go-to-MarketDevelop and manage strategic partnerships to drive growth and new revenue opportunities.Work cross-functionally with marketing, logistics, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution.Team LeadershipManage, coach, and motivate the team to meet business targets.Requirements Minimum 5+ years of experience with a proven track record in a commercial or business development role, ideally within a startup or fast-paced digital environment. Demonstrated team management experience - ability to coach, train, and inspire performance. Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives end-to-end. A growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit with resilience under pressure. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills. Experience working in a multicultural and cross-border environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in eCommerce or Marketplace business models. Prior experience in a startup or high-growth company.
