Job Title: Project Manager/Engineering ManagerLocation: Remote – LATAMCompany: Digital HarborAbout the Role:Digital Harbor is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager/Engineering Manager based in Latin America (LATAM). In this role, you will lead multidisciplinary software development teams, ensuring project success from conception to delivery. You will work closely with stakeholders, manage project timelines, mitigate risks, and create innovative software products in a fully remote environment.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage remote development teams, ensuring smooth collaboration across time zones and disciplines.Coordinate project scope and priorities based on strategic goals, team capacity, deadlines, and resources.Utilize project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar software to track progress, identify roadblocks, and deliver results that exceed stakeholder expectations.Communicate project updates, risks, and progress to stakeholders, ensuring full transparency throughout the development lifecycle.Drive software development and product creation by leveraging your expertise to guide teams through the complete lifecycle—from ideation to launch, ensuring innovative and high-quality products.Proactively identify and manage risks, implementing mitigation strategies to avoid potential disruptions.Assist in the professional growth of your team, ensuring accountability and removing obstacles to enhance productivity.Manage the full project lifecycle, from initial planning and resource allocation to delivery, while adhering to timelines and quality standards.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer systems engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.At least 2 years of experience as a Project Manager working with software products, OR 7+ years of experience leading software development teams.Proven expertise in software development, product creation, and team leadership. Your ability to guide technical teams through complex development processes and deliver outstanding products is critical to this role.Strong proficiency with project management tools like JIRA, Trello, or similar platforms.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Demonstrated ability to analyze, plan, and track projects to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.Experience managing remote, multidisciplinary teams across multiple time zones.Preferred Qualifications:Project Management certifications such as PMP, CSM, or Agile methodologies.Knowledge of software architecture principles.Apply through LinkedIn or send your resume to natalia.villavicencio@dharbor.com
